is D10 available for Xp

2day i got directX 10 setup from my friend, it says it is for XP. Is it safe to install?? Will directX 10 work in XP

Officially dx10 is not supported by xp. What you have got is hacked version.

Yeah it will work in xp. But be careful that it doesn't contain virus.

DX10 is not supported officially.But its available.My friends had installed it without any problem.
