Default Video editting

I need a video editor for my project, I have a whole bunch of avi files which have to be cut and merged, addition of subtitles and audio, etc. I also need to be able to be able to blur out some areas to hide faces, etc.

Any suggestions?

Also, I have windows 7 ultimate x64, so if a 64bit video editor is there, it'll be a bonus.

I don't mind any output format as I have transcoders.

Adobe Premiere Pro CS4. no competitors. Fully meets your needs. Looking at your GPU, use Bada Boom plugin with it to accelerate rendering by large margins.

after editing your stuff in any editing software
you need to render it so rendering is merging all you stuff like audio sub-titles effects transitions together and make 1 file
rendering time depends on your pc config.

Bada boom will accelerate your rendering speed

Bada Boom uses GPU to accelerate rendering speed. All GT200 based GPU's give a huge gain with Bada Boom. This includes your GTX275.
