the icon in utorrent always stays yellow or red and says that my firewall is limiting the network traffic n i need open up a port even though utorrent is added as a firewall exception.I am using my nokia 5130xm as a modem

I think u need to configure Port Forwarding for that

port foewarding is not possible in modem connection...!!
dont worry as long as u get allowed speed
i get 31-28-31 kBps in u torrent and symtorrent using bsnl and 5320xm

ps my connection status icon has never turned green...!!!
it shows exclamation sign most of the times and red sign sometimes but almost no change in speed..!!! be sure to use some good torrents with healthy status

Do u hav 256kbps cnnctn?? Then ur download speed is absolutely ok. Dont bother about the colour(red/yellow/green) till its giving u corrent speed.....!!
