Default Guitar FX Processor


Does anybody know of a guitar FX software that i can use on my pc to add distortion and such effects. Do i need a seperate sound card for this...or can i run it with my onboard one

Yup I've used one a year ago....!! It easily runs on onboard sound card. But the issue I faced was the sound comes out of speaker(delayed) much late than I strum. I think it was the sw issue.

no not of s/w its of h/w due to latency .

yep when I used with onboard sound card and default m/s driver it showed latency and when I connected my keyboard via delta 1010 sound card with its driver there is negligible latency.
