Default Purpose for what?

Hi all,

Can you recommend me a COMPLETELY FREE AND BEST SOFTWARE OUT OF EXPERIENCE, which is for deleting files purpose and at the same time, the deleted files should not be recovered by any means and which should enable deleting the LEFT files again completely by scanning the drive(s) for unrecoverable purpose ?

Try TUNEUP (Trial).. or try File Eraser.

When you delete a file, Windows changes a special byte and marks the occupied space as free space. But the file contents remains unchanged on the disk. You can easily restore such a file with special software. It is not the way to delete confidential information. This program overwrites the deleted file a few times in different ways with random numbers.

File Eraser supports five erasing algorithms:

1) American national standard DoD 5220.22-M
2) German national standard VSITR
3) Russian national standard GOST D50739-95
4) Bruce Schneier algorithm
5) Peter Gutmann algorithm

We tested File Eraser with the most famous file recovery software. Nor one program has been able to restore the files. Nobody will ever restore your files.

Ahh.. the File Eraser website/link seems to be gone dead, no worries.. try these ones:

MAX File Shredder : http://www.maxpcsecure.com/maxfileshredder.exe
Drive Scrubber : http://ds.iolo.com/drivescrubber.exe
