Go to windows startup and uncheck unwanted applications.
Also there may be problem with your nvidia drivers....Have you recently update your driver?.....If not, download 'driver cleaner'. Uninstall all drivers. Download updated drivers from their sites. Install and run driver cleaner in safe mode. Restart and then perform fresh install of updated drivers.
