Default Sound problem with Windows 7

I have C2D E4500 mounted on Abit IP35-E. Yesterday I installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. Working smoothly so far except sound. It automatically loads some drivers for it, but sound is not working with them. I downloaded drivers for Windows 7 64 bit from Realtek site (R230), but they're also not working properly. Anybody facing same problem?? Whatz the solution for this??

Default Re: Sound problem with Windows 7

uninstall the current audio drivers

try this driver : ftp://ftp.abit.com.tw/pub/download/d...io/hd/r190.zip

it's meant for vista 64 bit too and so win7 64 bit should be able to accept these drivers.

btw, before win7 installed new set of drivers for audio card, was audio working?
