Question Re: How to recover software

Hey, u told the DVD is corrupt. Corrupt means how corrupt?
1>Can the system read the DVD? i.e. read the DVD title at least? (u may have given some name to it right?)
2>What measures have u taken to recover the s/w from the DVD?

Plz reply...

Thumbs up Re: How to recover software

Try the s/w "dead disc doctor". Its very useful to copy data from scratched discs.

B/w, another method u can try is that, make an image of that disc. See, if the burning s/w is 100% successful in creating the image. If its successful, load the image in a virtual drive and copy the s/w.
