Help me installing NERO

hi frnds...
when i was installing nero essentials which was bundled with my dvd writer i get an error message that

"internal error: custom action DLL crashed on last call in function 'NeroAg_UNregisterComEx'. The installer must now exit.

i tried to install nero 9 trial from nero.....but it went unsuccessful

Did you try it in safe mode too ?

If you are on Vista then don't worry. Its a common problem! Use both of these and then try to install Nero again.

@hareesh, use this tool to completely remove Nero, and then try to install it again.

That is a general problem which I started facing since nero 7.

I'm right now using cyberlink power2go, its a good software.

Just one question, is nero completely free now, Does the free version come with startsmart that is?
