Default PROBLEM IN WINDOWS 2000


WHEN I INSTALLS WIN 2000 . THIS GIVES A ERROR MESSAGE IN RUNNING SYSTEM(WHEN I M WORKING ON MY SYSTEM). IT SHOWS SOME ERROR CODE 128 AND PROBLEM IN SYSTEM32 LYSSUS.

Try installing the software from another CD. That might help

don't update or overwright that 2000 format partition and try to install
other wise check all h/w by any h/w checking s/w that all h/w working properly

installing from another CD should help.
have u followed cancer10's advise.

Assuming that our friend here is installing his OS from a licensed copy of the OS, are you suggesting that he buy a new copy of the OS just to get around the error message.
Or has my friend here assumed that the OS is being installed from pirated copy (which even if true, should not be encouraged)

Also try out this although this problem had occured on Win XP and not Win 2k
All I did was google the problem. I suggest you try it too.
Plz let me know if it worked.

try to install from command prompt..insert cd go to i386 then type winnt.exe then press enter
