Default comodo firewall blocks all network connections

i have a reliance 1mbps connection.today when i uninstalled comodo firewall & then reinstalled it...the network connections icon disappeared from the system tray...when i tried to open the network connections from the control panel only a blank folder opened.usually there are two connections there- a 1394 Connection & a Local Area Connection with which i connect to the internet.but these were missing.instead i got an error message saying the list of network connections couldnot be retrieved. i uninstalled comodo & restarted the PC & at once the network connection started & i could connect to the internet.what could be the problem?

Install Comodo and uninstall it using Revo Uninstaller and then install it again.

Get rid of Commodo and use zonealarm free.
