Printer trouble

I have a deskjet printer

However when ever I switch the printer off, it gets uninstalled from the PC

And when I switch it on, it reinstalls again resetting all the previous settings.

May be its because of some virus or Malware, I am using Kaspersky Antivirus 2009

And the driver is from the CD that comes with the printer, so no problem with the driver too

First Uninstall the printer from Device Manager
Clean your USB Port and then reinstall the driver,
Your Problem will be solved !!!
