What is the price of Antivirus in India ?

Hi guys I know I can check on their websites but their is little confusion. As kaspersky online store it says something above thousand+ but here some guys bought it for 250 (don't know how many licenses) and I saw some blog he said he bought it for 450 (3 licenses) Kaspersky 7

so what is the price can u get it so cheaply ?

KIS for 250 ? I think its not possible.

It should be around 400 - 500 Rs (for 3 licenses). Before buying check that it is sealed or not, and after installing activate it over the net.

The very cheap ones are most probably pirated ones or downright fakes.

I saw McAfee available for 1200-1300 Rs (1 license) and Kaspersky Internet Security (3 licenses) for about 600/-

My friend bought KIS recently, hence I mentioned. Not sure where he got it, but I'm sure it's genuine, since it hasn't troubled him yet (it's been about 2 months, and KIS blacklists key at much swifter rate if found pirated)

People asking Antivirus price (KIS), check out eBay.in and rediff shopping.

I first bought from rediff KIS7.0 last year one user 700. This time bought from ebay worth 549/- 3 user

came sealed pack and already activated in two machines.

Bought a KIS 2009 3 user for 425 in Chennai few months back. Dunno the current price. I bought 2 CDs at that time as we have around 5 PCs overall in our family.

3 user licence policy is good by KIS. and as far as i know microsoft office student edition also support 3 user license.

Stick with Avira/Avast/AVG free. They are good enough. KIS is around 700/- for one yr for 3 yr licenses from its official re-sellers. You can always try Microsofts free MSE, soon.
