vista not starting up??? help plz

hi there is a big problem with me. vista not starting up after giving password on account its just stuck on welcome screen and message. and the orb keep on circulating.nothing happen ahead. even after running in SAFE MODE it does not do any thng just a blank black screen comes written safe mode on all four corners. NO TASK BAR NO TASK MANAGER NOTHING HAPPEN. i tried to recover through recovery drive it also dont show any recovery medium. i have DV6910 TX HP LAPTOP.i have installed server 2008 on another drive from there am able to run ma lappy. plz plz help me i dont wanna loose ma os provided with ma laptop

If you are using System Restore, then try this:

Restore OS to point of time when you had no issues with boot up.

hello...i tried that and even two times but not helped. problem is still as same. any one plz help me out form this problem...

may this can happen due to any VIRUS TROJAN WORM etc .......?????????????

any body having any clue????????

yep. Could be due to virus. see if you can take your harddrive to friends place and have it cleaned. Make sure that this windows has autorun disabled before inserting your HDD.
