If you are using System Restore, then try this:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tuto...torial148.html Restore OS to point of time when you had no issues with boot up.

yep. Could be due to virus. see if you can take your harddrive to friends place and have it cleaned. Make sure that this windows has autorun disabled before inserting your HDD.
