Exclamation PC WONT START


Hi Guys,

today i was working on my pc when it suddenly hanged .i had no option so i switched it off from the main switch.then when i started it again it was fine till the windows logo but after that a blue screen blinked andthe pc restarted.it keeps on restarting after the blue screen.i also dont have the windows cd.and i cant go in the safe mode as it restarts

Hi,

Which OS are u using? This is something that i faced with my pc while using XP. U just have to repair it using the XP CD.

Yes I'm Using Windows XP SP3, But I Dont Have The XP CD.Plz Tell Me A Way To Repair It Without The CD

I think the installation is corrupt. try repair or reinstall.

Even if you manage to repair your Windows installation without a Win XP CD this time, it is likely that something will eventually go wrong in the future that will require a complete reinstallation.

If you have the XP files in your hard disk, boot the computer into DOS and run the XP installation/repair from DOS.

It's also possible that the problem may be caused by faulty hardware. The RAM(s) may need to be reseated or you may have bad sectors in the boot partition.

Remove your RAMs, clean the contacts and put them in again. If that doesn't cure it, boot into DOS and do a surface scan.
