Default explorer.exe restarts .

Hi guys.
When I open my DOWNLOADS folder and point my cursor to certain files for the tooltip to appear, the windows explorer restarts.

I viewed the log from the event manager and found the following entry.

"
Faulting application Explorer.EXE, version 6.0.6001.18164, time stamp 0x4907e242, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 6.0.6001.18000, time stamp 0x4791a7a6, exception code 0xc0000374, fault offset 0x000b015d, process id 0xf10, application start time 0x01c9dd1d7ab2d72b.

"
Please help.

Does it happen only when you go to the DOWNLOADS folder?? And did u install any hardware device or removed any device before the problem started to occur?

Ya . Only the DOWNLOADS and MY COMPLETED DOWNLOADS folders. Rest all work fine. I haven't installed any additional hardware other than provided by the dell (its a dell studio 15 laptop I am talking about.)
