Default Boot PC throught NETWORK


hi,
i want to boot a computer which is in my network through LAN,it's my friends he don't have a DVD and as i have a os of 4.5gb ,it's possible through disk less booting and goggled for it and found net boot but it's a very complicated one,please tell me any soft. or way in easy steps. We don't have a pen drive.
also tell me how much time it will take.

sir please if you know how to boot a disk less computer please tell me ,..forget the os !

It depends on the OS. I guess yours is Windows Vista or Windows 7 :-P

he probably just wants to know how to boot through pxe and setting up a pxe server. Anyone know of any easy to install pxe servers?

right graydot i am talkin abt PXE NIC,..as it's i think possible through server which has option in it to boot network pc through lan,but am using xp-3,and i have seen guyz booting through lan by making one pc as virtual server and other one as diskless pc as client.

Couldn't find any easy software for this, but this guide has some instructions. Also http://tftpd32.jounin.net/ seems to be a decent tftpd server I am not on windows so I couldn't test it out but it is ooooold.

@hdsk. i have a pendrive of 4gb only,...& the os is 4.5
