epson c43sx not working

I have a epson c43sx.I recently tried to reinstall the driver for the above mentioned printer .But during the install wait for the software to detect my printer but it never does detect .Also i think i am trying to use this printer after 2 months or so .I also installed windows xp service pack 3 recently.Can any one pls help

It happened to me too with my C41SX.....Actually it gets detected..Make sure it's on...you'll have to press "Stop Searching" and let the installation go on. The files will be copied and the port will be set. Also check if the printer is firmly connected and switched on.
