Downgrade Windows Vista to Windows XP (Research Program) Need Help

Geek out there.

Please help me to find a right solution on measures to downgrade Windows Vista to Windows XP.

I tried searching as much as possible but it all suggests the same solutions which does not makes my assignment upto satisfactory. I would be very obliged if you all could give me some more idea and solutions.

I previously had XP in my system. Then months back i upgraded it to Vista by removing XP. Now i want to remove vista and install XP again. But now my xp cd, which used to work perfectly is not getting detected. I changed the settings in BIOS to boot from cd, still VIsta gets loaded instead of loading from the DVD drive.. Wats the problem.? plz help.

Use a Linux live cd like Ubuntu to remove the vista boot loader. You can install XP again. Back up your data before that.

Use EASEUS partition master to clean your drive C before backing up the important data. Then use your CD to install xp.
