Default Virus attack!Please help

PROBLEM WITH INTERNET EXPLORER
After transferring some data from a pendrive(which i used in an internet cafe), the internet explorer is working incorrectly.
I got a message in noteped in which the creator of this virus
explains that he is sorry for what he is doing but he can't
but do it.He was generous enough to give his e-mail id:--" borkenmind.info@yahoo.com".
First of all, the title bar of internet explorer reads

about:blank-....BrokenMind....For Your Memories.

When i type the URL in the address bar and press enter,
a text box appears as follows:

iexplore
Access violation at address 6CB616B7 in module 'AVGTOO~1.DLL'. Read of adress 00000004

Then a blank box appears having a heading 'Warning'.
When i press O.K, it disappears and everything becomes normal.
When a new webpage opens (after i type the URL in the address bar), all the above processes repeats itself and a new blank webpage opens unnecessarily.After clicking on a new link(on the first webpage)
again all these repeats itselves.These goes on and after 3 or 4 webpages opens, the browser crashes.
I have got AVG 8.0 in my system.I tried uninstalling it.
But the following message appears and uninstalling stops.

directory avg8:setting directory access rights...

when i tried to install an online scanner ,the instllation stops because of AVG's presence.
After this I installed Mozilla Firefox also and it is working nicely.
Please explain some method to solve this problem

Download internet explorer and install it. That should either upgrade of repair the broken files.

Go for Opera, it is better choice, I'd say.

though due to registry, the problem may persist (get good antivirus and scan registry)

its a malware
AVG is not a good antivirus, try Some better av like kaspersky, or Avast Home edition
and in addition u need a good antispyware like spybot or SuperAntispyware

They will be able to solve the problem, also try removing unknown processes from startup.

Yeah! You are infected! Download + Scan with the Following Softwares:

* http://www.free-av.com/en/download/1...antivirus.html
* http://www.superantispyware.com/download.html
* http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/free/

Also make sure that they are updated to latest definition files and go for Full System Scan.

Keep in mind that as soon as you are completed with the download as well as definition update, turn the Internet OFF and than proceed with scan

Else

You can always try Online Scanning. Here's the list of best Online Scanners:
http://mrintech.com/5-best-online-vi...rs-you-can-use

If you have fast connection than go for online scan with Kaspersky: http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner

If not, Scan whole computer Manually by Kaspersky trial ware: http://www.kaspersky.com/homeuser (Don't forget to update the definition to latest one)

Problem will be definitely solved

Otherwise try Noob Killer. Do a 8-X kill and it will clear out all the malware.

www.freewarefiles.com/Noob-Killer_program_42299.html

Also, You can use CCleaner to clean-up your computer!!! http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/

Special thanx to: mrintech and Disc_Junkie
