Default One WinXP Inside another WinXP (No Multiboot). How ?

I have certain software, which I do not want to run under current operating system (Windows XP).
Also, I do not want to have another operating system to boot from this operating system to another operating system and run the software.

Is it possible to run one windows inside another windows using Virtual PC.
What I mean is Windows XP -> Virtual PC -> Windows XP(Inside Virtual PC)

Suggest the best Virtual PC software for my PC Configuration,
Intel P4 3.4 GHz, 512 MB DDR-II, GeForce PCX 5750-256 MB, 120 GB SATA, 80 GB PATA, Windows XP Professional.

Yes it is possible to have a sandbox environment using Virtual PC software.

VMWare is good and so is MS Virtual PC.

Anybody can use VirtualPC, but for intermediate-advanced users, VMWare is the best
