Default problem while booting ...


hi .i am having problem while booting up my computer. If i turn on my computer as soon as i switched on the cpu my computer just switch off when it reach the windows logo. Also if i start pc after 5 min there is no problem.Can anyonr help me out.
My pc config is
Motherboard Intel DG965RY
processor core 2 duo E6600 2.40 GHz
ram 1gb
graphics nVidia Geforce 8600
hdd 250 gb sata
os windows xp.

IMO its mostly your PSU or RAm thats faulty...chek these

remove ur ram...clean it with an eraser(only if u have done it earlier)
then insert it...
try using other slots...
also try some diff ram...

thank you.. i got the problem. my PSU was defective.. it was Chinese... now i got new one not Chinese..
