Default Dual Boot Problem..plzzzzzz help


Yesterday I bought WD320GB..I will dual boot it by XP & vista...now I already have a Seagete-160GB with XPSP2 installed..so my question is if i attach my old HDD(after its C drive formatted)..will it take automatically..or it will overlap with new HDD as these 2 will have same drive name C:..........

Don't worry, u'll not face any problem here. Just insert another one also and it will take another drive letter. But wait for others comment also.

No problemo. When your computer boots up it will look for the master boot record in the first hd. If it is doesn't find any, it will look for it in the second hd. If it still doesn't find it then something definitely went wrong somewhere.

Just remember to connect both drives if you decide to install your OS's separately on each drive. But it is better if you install both OS's on a single drive.
