unable to open blank dvd or cds

it says..G: not accessible, incorrect function

What is your OS ??

Usually we burn Blank DVD / CD, so why would you need to open some thing which has nothing ?? can you burn them using your system ?

Ths may b a virus issue........try opening thm from explorer or addressbar........and reply......

Not all CD/DVD writers can open blank discs.

if you want to open blank cd's then goto my computer, right click cd drive and goto recording option and tick the "enable recording on this drive"
