Default Graphic card improve video cliarity


My question is a bit simple one....Does graphic card help in increasing the clarity of video files.

ok I know it helps in HD content...but I am talking abt AVI files...please tell me ur experience

^^no. it certainly won't for AVI's. They are so much compressed that there is no point int talking about clarity

I think they should... e.g. nvidia's card boost of PureVideo which offers things like high quality scaling, video decoding acceleration for most common formats, high quality de-interlacing, noise reduction, colour correction etc. (Ref. http://www.nvidia.com/docs/CP/11036/...Comparison.pdf)

AVI can contain video encoded at high bitrates also.
