Simultaneous Audio Output

Hello People
Can someone help me out with this. How can I play a game (hl2 here) & channel its output over a headphone jack while simultaneously playing a song over speakers for everyone else to hear?

connect the speakers to a PMP.
This can be done if uve got both onboard sound and a sound card. just select the output device of music player like winamp as sound card or onboard and select the other one for the game.

^^ I doubt that would work, even if you have both a sound card and an on board sound, only one would work at a time....
even if two sound outputs can work siultaniously, its not possible to direct the sound source at your own will.........

^ You're right, only one would work, in my opinion use headphone on one and Line out on another
