Angry Choppy computer driving me crazy!!

Hey guys! I've got this REALLY annoying problem and I am really at my wits end! My computer runs really choppy. I had installed XP I have done the drill. Scan for all kinds of malware, update OS, etc, etc. But there simply doesn't seem to be no end to this problem. I thought, there might be a virus which is really persistent, but wouldn't go. Also, it was time to upgrade. So, installed Vista.

It was alright for 2 days. After that, it's the same problem on this too. I'm enclosing my HijackThis log file. AFAIK, I don't see anything suspicious in the file. BTW, one thing that IS suspicious is, whenever I use CCleaner, there is an obsolete registry entry for Albert Yale. I found that this is an anonymous email program and don't know how this enters the system. I always use Comodo firewall(currently not using) but still I see that entry. It's there in both OS(XP and Vista). But for now, I just want this choppiness to end.

Audio, video, everything is choppy. The most annoying thing about audio is, if I'm playing and I scroll a webpage, it gets worse whenever I use the wheel. Please help me out!

This line:

C:\Users\Sunil\AppData\Local\Temp\srcmon.exe
Possibly a malware infection. Scan with Kaspersky's online scanner:

Thanks a lot! I think srcmon.exe is an old virus. Don't know how I got infected. But, there is still a problem. Whenever I scroll, I still get the choppy sound The audio drivers are the latest.

Uninstall drivers, go to safe mode with networking, download and run ccleaner. Download and run malware antimalware (complete scan), super antispyware and trojan remover. If you are windows windows xp, use windows cleanup. After that go to normal mode and reinstall drivers.
Frankly speaking this also applies when you are installed new drivers as well.

Tried every method mentioned here. Didn't work. I was wondering if it was related to heating issue. Blew out the dust bunnies, temperatures dropped and the sound seems to be stable Thanks guys! I used to suggest these methods to others, but seemed I was at the recieving end this time
