Default [Software] K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 1.33

K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 1.33

K-Lite Mega Codec Pack combines the contents of three codec packs: K-Lite Codec Pack Full, QuickTime Alternative, and Real Alternative. It also includes some extra features: BSplayer and ffdshow.

Latest Changes:
- Updated ffdshow to build 2005-06-11
- Updated MP4 DirectShow splitter to build 2005-06-07
- Updated Matroska DirectShow splitter (made by Haali) to build 2005-06-07
- Removed Windows Media
- Removed third party QuickTime plugins (ipix, zoomify, etc.)
- Opening embedded RealMedia clips in MPC should work better now
- Improved Unattended Install Maker
- Now able to detect and uninstall a couple more codec packs
- Minor changes

yeah, Klite codec pack is good. I've been using it for quite some time now, no problems whatsoever.

Its just awesome.... The only prob wit it is doesnt open asf files otherwise everything is ok.

well i am unable to open most of the file with k-lite codec pack(downloaded starwars-3, avi extention0
where as earlier i had used ace it used to open everything.
i uninstalled it coz it took too much of space(80 mb)
now i think it would be back to
it again.
but the best thing is u dont need all these , just install vlc player
its simply superb

*.asf files r a container for Windows Media Format and Microsoft MPEG4 formats.........K-Lite Does have Windows Media n MS MPEG4(only for avi)F files.......well if ur file does not play its probably corrupted or is using some unknow codec

Try Windows Media ASF View 9 Series to find out which A/V codecs r used in the ASF file.........

use G-Spot from K-Lite Codec pac on those files u cant play n tell me the results....

N i hope u dint install K-Lite over ACE oe ny other codec pack as that screws up the system

What a Codec pack.
Now I can play all video files I have downloaded.
