Tried forum search .. coudnt find an answer. well i mostly use gtalk. but most of my friends use yahoo.. and some hotmail too. i use skype to chat wid family .. lol.. now i want a chat client which shud support all big names ..but shud also support voice and video calls.. shud have good clarity as skype.. if possible support multi person voice conference.. shud be good lookin .. if possible it shud hav custom status support and like gtalk if it could display current track ., that can be sweet,.. shudnt be that resource hungry.. and moreever be thin on network usage..

I think for both audio and video messenger...yahoo is the best...for audio and basic chatting...gtalk and overall I like is Pidgin...I am using it for the past 1 year and it's still rock solid...
