Default restarting problem


hi guys...I hv a problm ,can u help me???one of my frnd's computer had two 128mb ddr1 ram...today I installed a 512mb ram n started the pc..it started as before n showed that it has 632mb of ram...system was very slow,so I formatted the c drive.when installation completed the windows restarted n went on restarting after that...I replaced the original rams but no improve...it shows the msg that windows detected change in hardware or software...can u tell me wht cud b the possible reason n how to solve that???plz reply as soon as possible...

Did you try taking out the old sticks & put in just 512MB Stick ??

RAM Specs??

What type of Ram module are you talking about that you inserted? is it ddr1/2 ect.....

Try booting in safe mode then right click on my computer>Advanced>Start up and recovery> then uncheck on 'Automatic restart'.

I think that should work. Do let me know after you try this.
