Mail Client config for Vista

I tried to configure my various e-mail accounts in Windows mail client and did them by the tutes from the web but still only Yahoo account is working, rest all are not. I get the following error:

Are you using the default Vista mail client? If yes than try using the Live Mail client from the Live Essentials Suite.

Yes, I'm using the default client, the Outlook u can say. Its just that I don't need it to work but I want it to work so as to know how it works! LOL u can put what I just said in a siggy!
