OS installation using Ghost ! How ?

What is the procedure to install a Operating System using Ghost. What are its advantages and disadvantages.

You don't install OS using Ghost. You first install the OS, then NortonGhost using which a backup of OS is taken using Ghost which may later be used to restore your computer to the state that you backed up. If the OS gets corrupted, you can use the bootable disk for starting recovery.

After taking back up, what i need to do. Have i need to create a boot disk. Please provide complete details, how much time it will take (less than normal reinstallation or more than)
