Utorrent too slow!!!!

My utorrent is downloading at speed approx 10 to 15kbps but when i am downloading using mozilla firefox it download with 60-90 kbps. please help me to increase the speed of utorrent ?

were there enough seeds for the file that you were trying to download ??

Yup, the download speed entirely depends on the seeds and peers, it's not like normal downloads.

Did U try tweaking the settings in utorrent ?? ( A quick google). To add, ter's no ideal setting, varies from your "download rate" & that particular torrent.

Get "indian" torrents as early as possible to get good speeds. I get 150-200kbps avg, look around for good sources

^^I'd actually recommend the other way round. Get foreign torrents. Indians are lazy and dont seed much in their limited accounts. Foreigners have better connections and better unlimited internet.

dude, if the torrent is slow add more trackers to it.

I have 2.4 Mbps BSNL EVDO. and the problem is i have static IP address. can any one tell or give link to by-pass u-torrent.
