I can install MS Vista n is working fine... but I cannot install Windows XP (32 bit or 64 bit) and Windows 2003... While installing it copies the files, and when installation initilises, system get shut down... Can any one clarify????

I am using the same motherboard with XP in dual boot. Dont think motherboaed is causing the problem. Try a different XP cd.

Thanks dear ones for your valuable comments..

i first tried a installation for Xp which unfortunately did not worked...
Than, i installed Vista from the scratch.... i am getting used to it now...
I think, the question still challenges our intelligence... will always.. till a satisfactory answer was found..

let me format Vista n try Linux versions... Redhat or Suse... a little odd but lets see if the problem persists or not...

Any help is most welcome... nice to be among you guys...

Have a great day... n a great evening..
