Of late, i tried installing Zone Larm as well as Armour2Net. but none of them wud run. zone alarm says" sum true vector monitor error" it needs to be restarted evrytime.
any virus infection???

Have a scan with: http://www.superantispyware.com/download.html and then try reinstalling the firewall you prefer. else go for comodo free: http://www.personalfirewall.comodo.com/

thanks ! i got the w32 Sality virus which was stopping the firewall from starting up!
