Default Twitter Client for Windows XP..

I want a nice free twitter client for Xp.
I would prefer if it was a multi-protocol one.
I want it to be low bandwidth friendly.

Thanks.

Twitterfox if you want an integrated barebones client with your browser. Get it from Firefox add-ons.

For more visual effects, check out TweetDeck or Thwirl. I've been using TDeck for the past 8 months without a problem.

To conserve b/w, set polling options to check every 3 or 4 minutes rather than 15 seconds, although the get requests are barely a couple of kBs.

Twitterfox has some kinda limit ...[not exactly sure]

you can go for Twhirl (http://www.twhirl.org/) or TweetDeck (http://www.tweetdeck.com/)

Wont Twhirl, Tweetdeck be too intensive? They are web-apps running via Adobe Air if I am correct?
