I have formatted the system with various XP setups.During this only once ... all went right.But again when i formatted the system the same old story. Why it is so ?? BTW all the XP setups which i tried were SP2 and i m working on laptop.Plz help me.I m doing my project on my laptop and it needs all those USB to serial converter and Webcams working proeprly.

are you sure all your USB devices have enough power to be working together? USB devices draw power from the port itself... however in this scenario, if you plug in your devices one at a time... alone... it should work... if the device is not detected even if it is the only USB device connected... then it is something else...
