Klite doesn't play .rmvb files natively, sometimes.
Download and install "Real Alternative". Play the files with the "Media Player Classic" that came with it.
It will work. Download it here

Well I use 'Vista Codecs Pack' by Shark 007, most of the formats are supported. Besides this Nero Showtime and VLC Rocks., Used K-Lite before haven't switched after using Vista Codecs Pack.

I was also unable to play a rmvb file ( the grand dictator - comes with digit jan 09 ) with K-Lite mega codec pack installed on my comp.
Installed Real player 11 & it played without any issue.

Just get the "Real Alternative" pack separately, it will play. Guess this month's "digit" has it

I mainly use KMplayer to play video files. So you can try that or else
use zoom player. It really rocks but I think it's a paid app for the professional version which has more features than free version.

Smile Re: cant play .ram, .rmvb files ! ! !

Well, either you shud play them with real player, which indeed is nt a new opinion for the ques..

But, if u really want to use some codecs and want to play the file in ur favorite player, then i suggest STORM CODEC. They are far better than KLite Full Pack and also a freeware.
So, just download StormCodecs and start playing rmvb files in ur favorite player.
