Power Calibration Error

Hey guys i need your help..

I'm having this power calibration error and due to this i cant write any of the dvd's, but i can write any cd and there is no such error.

I nearly wasted 4 dvd's now and have changed to 3 versions of nero
can anyone suggest me what to do now?

I have also disabled IMAPI service, and still it isn't working

At times dis happens due to bad media as well..
which brand DVD's r u using ?

Right now im not using the branded DVD's.

i tried burning Frontech DVD's

Check whether ur Drive power cables are loose.Try not to branch that connector.I mean do not connect any other device (eg.HDD) in series to that connection.

hii.....if nything doesnt work out then probably ur writer is damaged nd hav 2 be repaired...

No buddy it has just been 3 months since i bought the DVD writer and i have not yet written any DVD's.
This can write Cd's with ease and read CD, DVD but it isn't writing DVD media.

@ sam_52136 - try to update the firmware of your drive.
BTW, Which DVD drive are you using ?

Mine is Sony DVD RW DRU-190A, I cant seem to find any firmware update for this. Tried Sony's website and still couldn't find one.
