Daemon tools 3.47 + Sims 2 + vista

I have sims 2 university which was a gift from someone from china . The game requires Daemon Tools 3.47 pre-installed on the pc.The setup won't work without it. Now I want to install it on my new pc running on vista but installing Daemon tools 3.47 gives a bsod. I installed new daemon tools but it needs the specific version.Is there any way like modifying the exe or any script or cmd prompt for installing it without daemon tools 3.47 ??

Alcohol 120% is a substitute of daemon tools. The DAEMON Tool lite is 4.30.1v. Using it in both xp and vista. Or you can extract it using 7-zip or Winrar if it is in iso format. My advice do not use pirated software.
