Display Driver had stopped responding and has successfully recovered

Hey guyz., My Sytem config:
Intel C2D E4500 @ 2.20 GHz
2 GB Transcend RAM @ 667 MHz
Intel 945 Chipset
160 GB HDD
I dual boot my system with Windows XP Professional SP3 and Windows Vista Ultimate SP1, the problem is often the display goes blank for a couple of seconds the Vista displays "Display Driver had stopped responding and has successfully recovered ". This is not occurring in Windows XP, I am facing this problem for past 6 months and had formatted the system too but to no avail, mine is a Compaq branded system ( Compaq Presario SR5250IL ).. I am sure you guys can figure it out...
