Default free multiboot tool


i have been planning to install linux in my computer(already containing XP) but am doubtful if i can boot into it.please suggest a free boot manager.

Yeah you can. It will automatically be configured. But still if you want a good Boot Manager then go for XOSL Extended Operating System Loader (XOSL)

You dont need a third party bootloader. All Linux distroes will have either Grub or Lilo, two good Bootloaders, with them. During the installation, it will be configured automatically, so that all of your OSes are listed in the boot menu.
