Default Force vista to stay on with incompatible programs / color scehme


hi

we all know that vista turns off aero when it runs a incompatible program. and the color scehem goes to home edition...

is there a way to force it to stay on aero ..


also wht to do or ho revert back to normal ?? i tried restarting the explorer.exe...

didnt help./

No way dude. It automatically changes to basic from aero when running incompitable applications and vice versa.

firstly, vista switches to "Basic" mode when you run an incompatible, & not "home" mode!!
secondly, as soon as you close the program which forced the change, it should immediately revert back to normal unless you've run something like ares or odc which just hides in the tray & doesn't really shut down! i'd suggest you change the properties of the program you've been running cause the change back should be quick & automatic
