How to get product id for original xp disc ?

Please,how to get product key for original xp disc?

I have an original XP OEM (I got it from a telecom company's office.Please don't ask abt

the sources.I am not sure if its OEM or not) CD.The people who gave me have also left

the place.Its from an HCL PC.

Is there anway of obtaining the product key for this CD?

On the CD there are this values :

0601 part no.X08-33951

On the CD cover the Certificate of Authenticity[ (COA) or whatever it is called ]

has this number wriiten on it :

00045-136-258-884

The booklet or manual that comes with the original CD has these values:

On th back of the booklet.Actually there are two stickers.

1.is the same as that on the CD cover has this number written on it:

00045-136-288-942

2.Another sticker which states as below:

"The COA label has been removed by your PC manufacturer and should be attached to your PC." ???????

Can I get the Product key from these numbers? Will Mcrosoft Product Support be of

any help in obtaining the Product Key?

I don't know if it is illegal to do this .So need expert advice from members here.Please

The product key must be on the Cover itself. Check again.

Its just a plain white paper cover,with transparent plastic attached to the front side..on

the back side which is wholly paper is the COA label or whatever it is with the number

Product Key for this CD?I can't go back to the office of this company for the key.I think

the COA attached to the back of company PC cabinets show the Product Key.But I'm

not sure on which particular machine this version of XP on my CD is installed,Thanks

I am assuming that you have original Windows and also i am assuming you have missed your product key. So legally you can use what is written below:

In order to view your product key you have to install the OS on your system and than use: http://www.webtechgeek.com/How-to-Fi...roduct-key.htm

Otherwise use: http://support.microsoft.com to retrieve your OS key from details that you gave.
