Unable to open application through Run dialog

Dear all,

I have got a peculiar problem in my machine. Whenever I am starting regedit through Run dialg it is giving me message "Are you sure you want to add the information in to the registry?" but when I am starting through Command Prompt regedit opening fine. This is happening for all application like Visual Studio, Notepad, Outlook but all these apps opening fine from "Command Prompt". These apps are also not opening through Desktop icon/Program Menu. NIS is running in background but I am not able open NIS main window.

Please Help Me Out. Thanks in advance.....

You can try this:
goto>HKEY_CLASSES_ROOt>.reg>in the right pane set 'Default value Data' to regfile
restart.
if not help, then try to restore by your os CD. Choose upgrade.

Run a SCAN with: http://www.superantispyware.com/download.html Maybe it's a spyware problem/trojan problem. Rest do what Amir.php said
