games install problem in XP x64

Hi

I recently installed XP x64 on my pc. all the games that i install are by default installed in 'program files x86' folder in c drive and not program files folde (which is also there in c drive. i m confused whether these games will run in 32 bit mode or 64 bit mode.

just browse and change it to wateva u want

that i know. i meant was why there are 2 program files folder one normal and another seems to be for applications to run in x86. all applications / games are installed in it by default. is xp choosing automatically to run the application in x86 (32 bit) mode?
