Cant burn a certain iso on to dual layer dvd

i use img burn to burn a 7.88gb iso file...
i get an i/o error
failed to write sectors reason:exessive write errors

this is what the error shows...
iv wasted 2 dual layer dvds for them and dvd dl's are expensive...
so any idea whats wrong?

Maybe your writer do not support writing Dual Layer DVD's or may be it's a DVD Media Problem. Try using different brand or drop the idea of burning Dual Layer DVD

yup, tat cud be a possibility.., btw (to the OP), dude, wich DVD writer are u using ?? and wich dual layer DVDs too ??
I hv a Sony DVD writer and hv successfully used Nero 6+Moser baer Dual layer DVDs to write my stuff..

40 minutes.And disable the screensaver, and set power saving options of all to never except monitor

Dont waste DVDs. If you are using Nero then select Simulation on the "Final Burn Settings" page by clicking on aero. Simulation will let you know writing will successfully possible or not
