I couldnot install antivirus,why?
When I try to install avg antivirus on my pc, the msg shows" you have another antivirus/secuirty related software installed,please unstall it and install antivirus", but i have uninstall all the antivirus which i have install ealrier through Control Panel Add or remove program.I have installed norton 2008,avast home edition 4.8 and kaspersky 2009 which i have installed and uninstall later on.Pleasee suggest,your resoponse will be appreciated. Get a registry cleaner (oh, thats d reason u were asking for serial
 ).Get Ccleaner as advised earlier. Scan ur registry and remove those(norton, avast and KIS related) entries. And download RevoUninstaller. From now on while uninstalling any program use this software. U'll understand better if u use it.

I tried Cc cleaner but didn't help in case of AVG, you will have to manually delete it using
regedit. start>run>regedit.exe

Don't try to manually alter with the registry as it may cause Fatal errors Click here to Download

Dear fresns,
I have tried to do as you all mentioned. I tried to install antivirus,but the msg comes saying" you have another antivirus/security product installed on this computer,it is advisable not to have more than one anti virus,we recommend you cancelll this installation and uninstall the current anti virus product" WHat it means,although i have uninstall all the antivirus and clean the registry manually and through software.please suggest me. Thanks |

Hello manually is the only way becoz AVG chap chor ke jata hai. Turn on regedit.exe,ctrl+f,type AVG click on search. Delete everything with the name AVG. As for bassam and thewisecrab my method is way too simple then running a registry software.
And why would i want to destroy someone elses system? IF YOU WANT TO DELETE IT THROUGH SOFTWARE THEN YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR IT. TRY TUNEUP UTILITIES 08 AND AUSLOGICS BOOST SPEED. they come with a registry tweak software.
