Default Windows 7 prebeta -- my take

Hey Guys,

Hardware:

HP XW4300 workstation

CPU: Pentium 4 processor running at 3.2GHz
RAM: 1Gb DDR 400
HDD: 80Gb Western Digital
GPU: Nvidia Quadro 540

Before saying anything about this OS, here is a picture that says a thousand words:

Installed OS while connected to internet. And look, not even a single unknown h/w in the device manager. And btw, it's a 2yr old workstation.

Cudos to MS for this

More coming up.

well 2 years old isn't much older than the sound card I have

Goo to know that it detected all the h/w devices. Btw a review in Review section can clear up things more lucidly.

Now, while all the apps are in maximised state,

I opened IE 8, uploaded an image to imageshack and here is the image:

Look at aero at this point where RAM is utilized like hell:

Oh forgot, this is on a 2yr old PC with score of 3.7, 1gig ram and P4 3.2GHz processor:

PS: cricket live udpate pages are open in all the browsers

it IS sluggish. You can't expect it to be blazing. I just wanted to show the stability of the OS.

while so many pages were open, I took screenshots and uploaded pics to imageshack and copied that to Digit. and nowhere you can find that hangup's. You can go on and do the work.

PS: Who will use 4 music players, 10 browsers, 10 optimizers at the same time?
