Default vista performance ...

hi
i am using vista for 4 months ..with 2Gb ram and AMD x2 4000+
i always hear ppl saying vista is slow .. xp was faster. but frankly speaking i didnt find any difference b/w xp and vista as regular user ( no games / no designing s/w like photoshop )
i get proper response ( like i dont measure time in sec in xp it takes 3 sec to open folder in vista it takes 5 sec ) with no antivirus / no firewall / no spyware ( other that win defender )
infact i like some of the features of vista ...

just want to know is there any one who likes vista ..

just share ur views

i too feel the same, programs opens much faster than xp,network file copying is much better, many new useful features....only slowdown is in games 5 fps short in many games, other than this its a great OS.
Even the music quality is better in vista
